Boston Celtics Take Early Lead in NBA Finals
The Boston Celtics have taken an early lead in the NBA Finals after defeating the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 in Game 1. The Celtics were led by Jaylen Brown, who returned to the lineup after missing Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals with a hamstring injury.
Brown scored 21 points and added three steals in his return. Jayson Tatum also had a strong game for the Celtics, scoring 18 points and grabbing nine rebounds. Marcus Smart added 17 points and dished out seven assists.
The Mavericks were led by Luka Dončić, who scored 20 points. Christian Wood added 16 points and Spencer Dinwiddie had 14.
